Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

Quarterly Report Due 4/24.

Not sure what to think about it, we'll see what we report as it'll impact what we will be doing with employees as well. If the numbers are soft, rest assuered, there will be another wave of chopping and 'streamlining'. With the entire market in turmoil it's hard to predict where the things will go from here, I hope we'll be able to avoid the worst case scenario.

Good luck all.

How many people have heard this before from the mealy mouth double talkers. We did great but due to potential market downturns.... Even though our merit raise is for the previous year not the future market.

I don’t give a sh*t about this Quarterly TH meeting. I want my 8% raise + retro pay all the way back from 1/1/25!

They we start out the meeting saying how the company is performing great and every goal was exceeded and the future is looking bright. They will then switch gears and say how the company isn't performing well and we are facing headwinds and your salary increases are going to be very thin. They will do this with a straight face.

They've done this before.

Listen, employees might catch a break with the new CEO for now—new blood means a chance to wipe the slate clean. Most CEOs jump at the opportunity to gut the bloated balance sheet, pin the mess on the last guy, and set a low bar to hit their fat bonuses and performance goals without breaking a sweat.
But if this new hotshot thinks they can keep chasing the insane double-digit EPS growth the current clowns are obsessed with, good luck. That’s a recipe for tanking the company. And let’s be real—the shaky economy’s the perfect excuse to dodge accountability. Bet they’ve been scheming this for years.

Rest assured, FB and his cohorts will ‘sell’ us a lie and tell everyone Fiserv numbers look great that supersede far their expectations yet still do another round of layoffs due to corporate greediness and then sell more stocks and leave us all to hang.
