Thread regarding MassMutual layoffs

Unethical Leadership 100%

I’d be ashamed to be connected to leadership this reckless—scrambling to balance the books while using people’s livelihoods as leverage.

Be a shame if someone sends a tip to business insider by going to their site...scrolls down...sees send a news tip....clicks...gets ready to send. Real shame.

SM only cares about discussing AI in interviews. Our AI teams and tools are a joke. We spend so much money on AI tools no one wants or can use just so he can brag about it

Middle management is already burnt out. Earlier start times, longer days, no insight or oversight, a lot of chasing down MMI for answers on what they're doing. And MMI is hiring people who don't actually have the skills for the work they're expected to do.

MBAs sit in their ivory towers and start enacting what they learned in school without a second thought to quality.

Give it a few years and middle management will be burned out trying to manage a 24 hour time zone.

A bigger shame if the insurance regulators did their jobs and sent in some forensic accountants to check their books. Would take them 30 minutes to realize there’s trouble brewing.
