Looks like the most prominent rabble rouser has left the building.

Genius move Cisco on the Webex photos. For further improvements how about removing all negative emojis such as angry and frowny face they are so negative and unprofessional. Also I think all hand emojis should be mandatory to match a persons skin tone that way our team diversity will be on full display. These changes are all just as crucial for the companies continued success please make these changes asap!!

Absolutely pi---d about this webex photo sh-t. This goes beyond having a "professional" appearance and violates my personal privacy outside of Cisco. F THIS!

Free speech and no job. She deserves both of those outcomes. Accepting a paycheck while griping made her a hypocrite.

And speaking of Webex and the directory, what do people think about someone from HR making the comment that because customers and others can see our Webex profile pictures, or avatars, that they need to represent our professional selves and therefor they were going to push out a change to remove everyone's Webex custom profile pic and replace it with their directory photo?

Personally, I don't think people need to judge me by my appearance, my age, my gender, or my weight by having my directory/badge photo shown. I should be judged by my work.

I encourage everyone to log into the directory and hit Edit, then hide your photo. Hopefully Webex will then display a person silhouette. With this new change, depending on how IT pushed the sync out, if it's a link to the photo it should work. If they copied the directory photo to Webex, and now that it's managed and you can't edit it, it may be stuck as your photo until the next routine sync happens.

Let's see how confusing it becomes telling who said what in group chats when everyone is just a person sillhouette instead of custom photos.

Speaking of the directory, I'm not sure if it's all red-badges or just a few red-badges, but I've heard a few red-badges saying that the directory is restricted and they can't look up someone to find their email address or phone number.

I haven't asked them to try to search for someone via Webex to see if they can find people that way, but if it's blocked too, how are red-badges supposed to contact someone? Half the time when I open a case, the person assigned to my case is a red-badge and they ping me on Webex in the middle of the night instead of putting comments or questions in the case.
