Thread regarding Cargill layoffs

Jen Hartsock is the worst...

She gets up at the townhall and has to tell everyone she doesnt stand behind podiums, rather than just not stand behind the podium. Clearly she felt the need to make herself sound better than everyone else who presented before her. I couldnt imagine working for her.

DT&D townhall - Gloating about heading off to Geneva soon. Meanwhile travel policy updated to be more restrictive for he rest of us.

Half the time was wasted by the leadership going on about how much they appreciate and respect eachother. It really is a roadshow on how to surround yourself with "yes" women and submissive men.

How is that any different from any of the leaders at the top they are all only about themselves and keeping people around that blindly follow them. Good heavens if you are actually smart or think differently.. you have no chance at staying!

Is she as bad as the CHRO? Jen is annoying and awkward. But SL is a truly awful. Selfish and political. She is a psych control freak. My friends at Target laughed when Cargill hired her. Now I know why. SL is only about SL.

I had high hopes when she started. She said the right things and seemed to know what she was talking about. But here we are several years later and everything has gone progressively downhill since then. (Not that Justin was great or anything.)

She had every chance to make things better, but all that's happened is she hired her cronies and they keep saying things that don't align with actual reality. It's very disappointing.

The one who hired her must also be fired. So many bad choices, IT & Data are doomed and once you realize how bad lots of her decisions are you start looking for the next opportunity even if you earn less. Everything is Better than working for her.

Pick pretty much any other function (Finance, R&D, Marketing, etc) and you could say the same thing about those current leaders. Just so disappointed in the folks chosen. We had so much potential to be better as an organization and every day I just hate being here.

She excels at creating a culture of mistrust, restriction to data access, generating red tape and bloated bureaucracy, and an org chart of people too afraid to voice a contrary opinion.

IT & Data are doomed to failure with her at the helm.

She and her hires. Those 'Directors, VPs, etc... are equally horrible. Cargill Technology is moving backwards nowadays, but delusional speeches and saying yes might be the only thing those leaders are good at when talking to people above them
