The company is dying a very slow and painful death.

The business units are crazed. Xfinity is barely living, losing cable subs all time. Internet is going down from T-Mobile and Verizon 5G. Xfinity Home Solutions is joke of the home security companies. What is Xumo? Comcast Business is worse. NBC side is different, classic NY politics.

The Comcast IT departments are bad, very political, spending millions and achieving nothing. They lie to the business units left and right who are clueless. Most of the employees are just looting and collecting paychecks. Watch your back, it probably gets stabbed if you are too kind!

If you join this company, my advice is collect the paycheck and make up accomplishments ready to go just in case. Make up complaints about coworkers too. Dont worry about good work. Just dont go noticed or go on leaderships bad side OK, you coast right along.

people will cut internet as they have lower income. First stuff to go will. The priority will a car payment, rent, and food. Internet can be used at work or in the library. Forget about the phone companies taking customers. The phone companies can't make profit from internet at all. All the phone companies have high long term debt. That means it costs more than to sell the internet at a lower price. It is not the price anymore. It is wether people watch their money. Consumers are watching their money now. Nobody can fix this as it is social now. Forgot the internet providing revenue anymore.

Comcast has too many captive broadband internet to completely fail, at least not in the next 50 years or so. But there are certainly parts of Comcast, the rapidly dwindling NBCUniversal (SpinCo and plans to migrate jobs to Comcast'sCIEC ), and the already decimated Sky that are su-king hind t-t. The OP sounds like they are in Comcast IT, which is in decline and sure to suffer more.

The company is not dying, but its not doing great either.
