Thread regarding Blackbaud Inc. layoffs

What is the end game?

They posted a ton of jobs in India the same day they made a RIF in the US. How many more times will this happen? How big will India get? Will it just end up being the ELT in the US and a few directors and everyone else in India?

Their endgame is to make the share price as high as possible. Nothing more. Most of their compensation is in the form of stock.

Here's how they are planning to achieve a high share price:

  1. Sell to new customers (not working out) and upcharge existing ones and pray they don't cancel.
  2. Cost cutting, primarily from eliminating US roles with India ones to fill.

The problem is, shareholders and investors outside of the company see right through this, as seen in drop in share price since the last earnings. Prepare for another one in the earnings at the end of this month.

Name a company that had a successful and positive offshoring story.

I'll wait.

Hint: None ever did.

Whoever said “Whining isn’t done in India” clearly has never spoken to a Negarro employee and it shows. India isn’t “winning”; it’s already a failure. Look at the quality of the support teams in India. They have no idea what they’re doing, they don’t know how to use the products, they’re taught to throw Knowledgebase articles and regurgitate from a script, and customers are fed up with having to contact support because they are so terrible. If you think offshoring any of the other departments is going to be successful, you’re an indoctrinated id--t and probably a longtime boot-li---r of the ELT. They’re never going to choose you so have some self respect and start defending yourself, your peers, and the industry you serve because the customers do not deserve any of this.

The plan has been in place for quite some time now. Open your eyes!

When finance and commerce eventually implode into the world's largest sinkhole in the ether, it's then when people will finally realize that offshoring everything to a bunch of backward, conniving, backstabbing, corner-cutting, incompetent clowns was THE END of civilization.

Essentially, your elected officials and corporate titans have decided that selling out to satan is preferable to continuing the human race onward in a positive trajectory. To them, money is all that matters...no matter what the cost.

I’d imagine that they’re doing exactly what all of the other tech companies who are shipping operations overseas are doing. If it can be done in India, then it’s going to India. It seems like they’re intentionally burning U.S. operations to the ground and rebuilding in India. They don’t care about you or the customers. They only care about their personal agendas. Do what you need to do to leave without being negatively impacted. The damage that the ELT has done is irreversible and shipping operations to India is the nail in the coffin. This is the end for Blackbaud.
