Vena doesn't think clerical work is valuable. ..they cut over 40 clerk jobs in customer service and want them to apply for some NA job they are putting up.
Well if they want people paid correctly, cars billed correctly, etc. Clerks are needed and valuable.
Other crafts are paid double what clerks make.
Just making people miserable is the goal.
Im old enough to remember when clerks verified the tracks, yard masters knew how far along every switching job was, and car men worked every track. W/ the quick loading switch engines the yards were so much quicker and more efficient.
Wait until they start loosing cars locations and shippers start complaining about how worse the service gets!
