they’re still out there selling the same junkie equipment with inherent problems year in and year out no wonder their decline is so sudden . We had so many problems at our company with their equipment. We had to kick them out and get another vendor. It was a no-brainer.

Most connectivity issues are not related to the machines, but are due to improper setup (such as trying to use WSD ports rather than standard TCP/IP ports). This is a Windows problem or IT person laziness/ ignorance problem. It is an easy out for the IT person to blame the machine so he can get back to his video game. How many calls come in for "bad NIC card". Very, very seldom is there an issue with the actual hardware.
Not sudden they are letting 30+ year techs go and replacing them with people that have 0 experience.
“Where’s My Tech?” Ricoh techs basically treated like Uber. Can customers request a dry clean / food pick up? Hey! Tech is going right by my fave restaurant! They can quickly stop in right?

Referring to a brand of tech as “Junk” is kind of weak without back up. That said I’m not a fan of the recent stuff from Ricoh. The IM series seem to have a lot of problems: ADF issue in not 1 machine but 5 for one tech! Brand new! Connectivity issues? Have you tried X? Y? Z? No? Sorry! Best part is that Ricoh wants Network Services business but can’t seem to help with basic print connectivity issues... Ricoh teaming up with Toshiba now. Is that the Solution or problem? A lot of amazing techs got laid off and customers are feeling that brain drain. Remaining techs are soooo leveraged and unenthusiastic. “Where’s My Tech?” New techs have to resort to online forums and a message in a bottle... imagine. change.

So, looks like somebody lost a big customer to Ricoh, huh?
So I'm guessing you sell for a competitor, at least have the ba--s to say who you work for.
I have 10 year old Ricohs MFPs chugging along just fine.
