Was laid off, last day was 4.1. I received a payment via direct deposit today. This is not the full severance payment I was expecting. It is also less than what i was receiving biweekly. Was anyone else’s paycheck short? Do you know what this is about?

One of my last checks I got was a strange amount and later figured out that was my additional PTO I purchased being reimbursed
that was youf final paycheck and not your severance.
I was laid off 3/21/25 and I just got my severence pay. The employee center is useless.
That was the paycheck for March 24- April 1. The severance paperwork said it would take 2-3 pay cycles for the severance payments to be issued.
Call the employee center. Make this ding dongs in Phillipines do something. Last time I called employee center I heard a chicken in the background
Look at the hours, was it the same? Like bonuses, severance can be taxed differently so look at that as well.
That was probably your last paycheck. April 1 was a Tues so your last check will be short. Severance takes several weeks to get. If you still have questions, you should call!
