Anyone else think the recent reddit post about Chuck at the WH is a marketing blunder? Trump crowing about how Chuck made $2.5B during recent market rally makes the company look shady. Trust lost in a moment?

This is a really d-mb take. It wasn't marketing, jack a$$.
Can't spell Chuck without CUCK. He's a piece of sh-t, the company is absolute dogshit.
Unionize!
Schwab will share his wealth via bonuses.
Yawn. No way you’re for real. “At least get new material” says the guy spitting the same old rant as everyone else on this forum. Oh! And “For doing nothing…” eeeek. Bless your heart.
The strike out on your own argument is so boring. At least get new material.
Schwab marketed itself to employees as a positive place to work with shared rewards. I may be the oldest manager in this forum and I remember being pulled to phones because I had the required certifications. We all did. And I made good money with lots of shares.
We were led to think that would be the TD mindset. I told my team that was deluded but other managers worked people with lies. Work and you will be rewarded. Instead Chuck got a double digit raise and my team average was 3.2%. A billionaire doing nearly nothing. That pi---d people off.
As with RTO there’s collusion. If all companies conspire then what does someone do. At least I can give some of my team off the books WFH.
What one fails to question is what was happening in that room in the first place? Assumptions make you look stupid. From a society driven my meme's and shock headlines, few actually think critically. This forum is a prime example of that. When you're in the room with the POTUS during a giant trade war, think Chuck was there to, I don't know, get pointed at and claimed he made billions? He always makes billions - he lost billions too during the SVB crash but no one wants to acknowledge that as Uncle Joe was in charge. Wonder what happened to Chuck's 'billions' on Friday? Can you all be that naive? (A: Yes. Yes you can)
Hot take: if you hate Schwab so much, take control of your own damn future and find a new place to work. I came from Fidelity - they're private, play all sorts of politics and favoritism and the rich definitely get richer there... but you'll never admit it because it's funnier for you to be miserable. Oh, and they're making everyone go back to the office too. The outrage!
Only back those that benefit you! Totally shallow and really speaks volumes - just making $$$ to benefit the future upChucks - no laurels......
Oh, look everyone, it’s a TROLL! Tell him you’re triggered so he can go c-m into the sad little sock his mommy still hasn’t washed. 😭
Leave Schwab or leave the country T-ru-p.
Respectfully, who cares? Find something else to do with your time.
When Trump lost the 2020 election & his supporters were attacking the Capitol & looking to hang the Vice President, Charles Schwab Corporation announced it was pulling out of politics altogether, saying the environment had become too divisive.
Now that Trump is back in office, Chuck chairman of the Board, is standing shoulder to shoulder with him in the Oval Office, laughing while Trump brags about how much richer he made billionaires. That’s not neutrality. That’s a choice.
It’s incredibly clear. When democracy was under siege, the firm wanted distance. Now that the threat is in power again, Chuck is right back at the center of it. You don’t get to play both sides. Schwab has aligned itself.
And MAGA isn’t just a political position it’s a movement built on dismantling democratic norms but go ahead and don’t read anything into it.
A new episode of Felon and Friends.
I love the talking point "Charles Schwab's political actions are his own."
His name is on the buildings. Give me a break.
Selfish, senile old coot at this point.
People degrade themselves standing next to this menace. Why participate in a public humiliation ritual led by a sociopathic narcissist? You just can never get that stench off of you.
Yep, this is gross. What a fraud - they all are. I’m getting hungry and think it might be time to eat the rich.
This is one of the most accurate and well written statements I’ve read all year. The lack of values and true leadership I saw among the EC and how that trickled down to every level is a big reason why I left my director role at Schwab last year.
