I hate United - literally…WORST company I’ve worked for in 20 years…and that’s saying a he-l of a lot… they can take their offers of alternative employment and shove them straight up their money-grubbing as--s!! Can we say LAWSUIT?!!! Check your initial work contracts…change in working conditions, etc. equals LAWSUITS!!!
They change my title years in as well. Sc--w it though. My original title goes on my resume and I'll explain it to any future employer.
We do not have contracts only offer letters. The company can do what they want. No one is guaranteed anything.
Well they hired me as one title, an industry standard position. They changed my title twice without promotion or job function or role changes. I was pretty sure that was illegal in CA but the mo-o’s who run UHG/Optum dgaf what happens to their “personnel inventory” so best to move on and avoid giving them your business in the future. We know what a sh-t show is going on and that some Hindu or Bot will be deciding your healthcare needs!
There are no contracts you’re not a contracted worker it’s an offer letter.
Sounds like you may be better off taking a business law class. The worker has seldom had a fair shake going back 200 years.
