What the foolish management of Five9 fails to understand is that you can't layoff and outsource to India and succeed. While cutting underperformers should be done on an individual basis, mass layoffs sink ships, there are well documented cases of this. It's either time for a sale, which will most likely happen or plan to go under!

When Acqueon was first acquired the talk was "finally we can have an Indian office" so the writing on the wall. They also thought this group in India could modernize the GUI quickly as well. Was a running joke around the group I work in about how backwards this kind of thinking was while knowing jobs will soon be outsourced by the greedy out of touch Burklands/Tucknesses
