Thread regarding GE Healthcare layoffs

They post fake jobs and conduct fake interviews.

The company continues to post jobs that don't exist. One ad in particular was on their website for over a year, and was one for which I had applied. Interviewed through five rounds, and then I heard nothing from them. After multiple efforts on my part to reach out to them, I finally got a vague response from the recruiter, where she said they were really close to making a decision. 8 months later, still no decision. So, when I called them about it, they said they recently implemented a hiring freeze. Dad was taken down, only two pre-replaced one day later with another job title, that was only slightly different from the previous one. These companies that post these fake jobs need to be called out and avoided.

Don't bother applying. GE health is just a cheap Chinese knockoff of a company.

Applied for a job in June, had some interviews during July then silence. Silence. Silence. Reached out and tried to get some reply. Ghosting. Then, in November new rounds of interviews. Ghosting again. Suddenly, job offer in January for a limited for two years contract which was a permanent position in job advertisement. I declined. They don't value people at all.

They did that to me three years ago on a modality specialist role. They went dark and then nine .months later called me up for a final round interview that needed to happen within ten days.

They have to interview multiple people to make it look good. They already know who will get the jobs.

I get contacted 3 times every year about the same Commercial Analyst job for the last 3 years. Seem like they bored or want to give their managers interview experience for a position they not planning to fill. I actually interviewed with them twice in front of a panel of 3 women each time. Never any feedback.

As a hiring manager - do not work here.

There is no vision - only the mantra of the month, ASAP, total lack of concern for employees.

It is a total mess of a cesspool

By accepting your first paycheck you sign away your legal rights to file a court suit.

People are just pawns to them, many layoffs, they change job titles slightly and call it restructuring so that they can lay people off and hire less experienced people, just one of the many games played here.

They want to keep the headcount so that a position doesn't get cut on their team, even if they don't need it.

They seem to make things up along the way. One magic trick after another.
