Layoffs in ISG RR and OKC this week - tech support has been hit

There was a round of layoffs in ISG this week, and several teams were affected, though I'm not sure of the exact number yet. I do know a few people who were let go.

Anyone know if the standard Dell termination package is still being upheld? I heard a rumor that this last round it was not offered at the same level as it had been.

I'm having a hard time figuring out Dell's strategy lately. It feels like they're focusing heavily on automation and outsourcing most of the jobs to India. We keep losing people in my team, we are down to 5 people.

Dead wood? Absolutely not. There was one QL and another one who had been working at Dell for over 20 years. Both were good guys.
