Hi, I am a new cxm and we were just told the chief officer of stores was coming to my store. My store manager is real stressed out. What can I do or prepare for the meeting? Is there any interaction or do I stand there like a statue...Please give me the scoop. Thanks

Tony doesnt talk to his Associates.
Relax and just recover.
Dont worry...she doesnt talk with anyone but the Store Manager and Regionals.

Her food rules are more picky than my 3 year old
Take a your lunch during the visit :D
Lots of healthy food.
Know your business, We have had her one thing is don't keep looking at your computer when talking business have some things memorized. She doesn't mind if you do have to quickly look or if she asks a question and not sure she ok with you looking it up to get her an answer. Be yourself for sure. She hates bullsh-t. I was just with her at a road show meeting as well and had personal conversation with her. But you STM should be giving you directions as well. Her visit was fast with us as she usually does more than 1 store a day.
That's the problem today. Whether the CSO or CEO or great granny down the street comes in it shouldn't matter. If you're running things according to policies and procedures, some "big wig" shouldn't matter. Take this care daily and an exec showing up shouldn't matter. Do what you're paid to do, it's really not complicated.
The “lunch spread” response took me OUT!!!! We got the “Coming to America” King Jaffy at the Barbershop scene being re enacted here folks!!!!
get out of the office and do your job for once.
Make sure you understand selling behaviors of your colleagues. Are you coaching them to the GROW model? How are they driving your business and what are you doing to help them deliver sales? We had a visit in March and all they cared about was behaviors.
Know how your businesses are performing. If a business is down, do some digging to see if you can understand why. Are you missing something you had LY and don't this year? If it's up, what's the explanation? Basically, what's driving the business either way.
How is that business doing compared to the district/region/company? How is Loyalty and CX?
People tend to get all freaked out when bigwigs visit but she's just a person like you and I.
Your STM should be giving you clear direction.
