I was a sales leader for 14 years at NetApp. I was diagnosed with cancer and a month later , I was announced as DM of the half year at sales kickoff. One month after my cancer surgery and was on leave, and a month after I as announced as DM of The Half Year, my ‘POSITION WAS ELIMINATED’ and was laid off once I returned from Medical Leave. A company that was made by its culture is now a spread sheet run company with more frustrated employees than any company out there. Disgusting!

Horrible company culture - I am very sorry for what happened to you Mark! YES, there are many companies out there that value their employees, their dedication and their passion, and are understanding of difficult personal situations.
This is terrible and disgusting. Thanks for sharing. This company is a mess. It truly hates it’s employees.
Consult an attorney.
The nostalgic culture of NetApp that people fondly remember is not the same as it is today or even within the past 5 years. Downfall seems to have escalated after bringing in leadership from other companies with poor cultures. After being laid off in the past year, I've realized that there are companies with better cultures. It seems notable that NetApp feels the need to emphasize its culture so much, perhaps because it's currently deficient.
Sorry to read this, I'm surprised President Cesar allowed this to happen.
I’m sorry that happened to you, Mark. Unfortunately that is pretty much par for the course of how this new toxic leadership is running and ruining the company. Great job, Cesar, RDB and others in that leadership circle. Clown show.
