Thread regarding Optum layoffs

AbleTo

Does anyone know if direct care staff, therapists or coaches will be laid off? Things seem so disjointed and unorganized. Wondering where we all stand in this Optim picture?

Yikes. I'm in the AbleTo tech group and we're already very understaffed for the work thats being handed to us - we've got contractors rolling on but there's no engineer, onshore or off, who can get up to speed on complicated systems instantly, especially without experienced SMEs around to provide knowledge and guidance. I'm really concerned for the state of our treatment delivery platforms going forward and the impact to patients who are just trying to get mental health care (myself included!)
Especially with the recent churn in OBC ELT - the continued reduction in already overloaded FTEs feels arbitrary and makes it clear that for execs this all a quarter by quarter numbers game and patient care is an afterthought.

I don't see the post anymore. Was it deleted? Anyone have more info on which AbleTo departments that will be affected outside engineering?

There’s a post down the page a ways about AbleTo. Didn’t sound good.
