The day of reckoning approaches!!!
The people who support the U.S. patients with their external equipment and therapy, those who’ve spent years navigating the nuances of the therapies, devices, and the deeply personal journeys of the patients being served are being “supplemented” by vendor agents based in Manila who have zero experience in the medical field. None. Yet they’re now answering questions and providing guidance on complex, sometimes life-altering topics for patients who are scared, confused, or in pain. The writing is on the wall.
I have also heard that this is going to be one of the largest RIF in Medtronic’s history. Cooking the financial books and making excuses to Wall Street could only last for so long. What’s sad is we’re the ones on the chopping block not our leadership.
I have heard from management and i can confirm April will be the big one. Its going to be a blood bath. Irish sites are going to badly affected.

I agree with the theory that the LT is better served to play the layoff card later in the year when the tariff dust has settled. That makes good sense.
Yeah, the chaos that's currently going on on wallstreet with regards to the tariff situation gives them cover this quarter. Greatest Q4? Stock is going down. Worst ever Q4? Stock is going down.
No need to burn up the RIF card since it aint going to move the needle this year....yet. Gotta keep that chamber loaded for a time when the impact is going to be maximized, and now aint it.

Layoffs are a coming, and this time it is BIG which is why the LT are keeping it as secret as they can.
April was the date, but maybe May now.
Many are nervous and of course less focused than before.
Let's get this done Medtronic, and then you can begin again on the RIF for next year, ufffff.
