It won’t matter when your number is up. The less effort you put in, the less you’ll regret it when they kick you to the curb regardless of how good you were at your job, or how skilled or experienced you are.

Glad I was out last year. Sounds like morale and the job is getting worse and worse. That’s what happens when you keep and promote su-k ups and get rid of top performers who go against the grain.
What miss out on a $50 stellar award instead of real salary/stip compensation that affects pensions and benefits.
Nah …… I can pay a 3rd of my gas bill with the big stellar after taxes.
And miss out on the ‘special assignments’ for high performance that replaced compensation incentives under the new performance system?!? Not a chance LOL
Oh yeah, so many people in my office no longer try or really care at all. The quiet quitting is with everyone in my dept. Yes on different levels but the feeling of no value drives down the morale and engagement becomes minimum required.
