Thread regarding Dell Inc. layoffs

Ready for Monday

Another round of layoffs hitting Premier peeps. There is a reduction challenge and it's going to keep rolling. Getting under a certain number is the game - it's not even a secret anymore just common knowledge. Dust off your resume.

I tend to agree with you, @ek+1jr4b8236. 1% is a lot more believable than 5%, or is it 10%? Or 15%? Why not 7.5%.?

Keep your dignity, amigos.

"whoever keeps talking about 1% is an id10t -- how do you really think it's 1%? It's significantly more, 5, 10, 15%"

So you really think they are laying off 20,000 people? You're the id--t. You don't even understand how big the company is or how it works.

Getting laid off by Dell is a mercy. Better to go before they reduce the packages again. It is a miserable existence as a Dell employee, and leaving can be a revelation. Get your severance and go work for a better company.

It's not more, 1% is confirmed with most groups exempt

@az+1jr4b8236 I know you just have no life and are enjoying some trolling but even 1% is over 1000 people. Plus some individuals are being laid off before and after this time.. so perhaps it's 1% per week with most people not in the 1% unaffected? Either way nobody cares unless it's them getting laid off and even then it's pretty irrelevant on that the % was.
