The man the legend the savior, has he been seen in any open forum or fielding frank questions from his flock?

Intel Vision was nice, where and when will he talked about what his grand vision and strategy and change will be and how it impacts the people that he will drive to do it!

Where is this visionary ?

@gc, agree 100%! NEX's Sachin Katti came and fired all the non-Indians and then brought his countrymen like Srinivas Lingam who then fired all the non-Indians and brought his buddies. These Directors/VPs/Managers do these vicious cruelty to the non-Indians and with impunity! Srinivas Lingam supposed to be the AI guy from Intel acquired bankrupted useless Israeli Co (Havana, Nervana etc) but now he just does slick PPT presentations! LOL!
This Indian nepotism culture needs to end in interviewing, hiring, firing, promoting..

Sachin Katti, Srinivas Lingam and their country men really su-k. Zero value added, and still got prompted - can someone explain how this happened? How Srinivas got away from building a useless AAO office and leaving Intel blind on AI strategy

Lip-Bu's mission is simple. More revenue, more profit and larger market cap. That's what he had done at Cadence for 12 years. He will make Intel investors happy no matter what it takes. That will help Intel folks as well for those who survive under Lip-Bu's leadership. If you don't like it, go find a better job out there.

Why talk to someone who's likely going to be fired soon. He knows what the problems are... it's huge excess of employees who are not doing anything to create value for Intel. No need to talk to dead man walking.

I don’t believe he still has a good vision as he approaches his retirement age. Did you ask his ophthalmologist for any problem with his vision yet? I suggest you should do that first before posting on this layoff site.

New CEO needs to the below broken culture, favoritism, nepotism, massive grade inflation etc:

  1. Nepot$sm, favor$tsm by $nd$ans in hiring, laying off, rewarding etc.
  2. Oregon/IDC arrogance. They are dinosaurs! Get rid off at least 50%!
  3. Silo mentality, horrible quality IP teams. Disband the BA IP and "supporting" teams and instead get off-the-shelf IPs from Synopsys/Cadence etc.
  4. Too many PEs/Senior PEs/Fellows doing GR8/9 work especially in NEX/NXNE. They take credit of lower grade workers work. Get rid-off 50% of grade10+ dinosaurs (they can't get any job outside Intel and sonthey just hang around and collect $400K+ paychecks)
  5. CPU, CPU, CPU mentality, when no one outside cares abt CPU much. They shd shut down CPU teams(Atom, Xeon) and focus on GPU/AI.
  6. Horrible purchases of $srael$ companies (Habana, Nervana Mobileye, DSP Comm etc). Intel was about to get s◇cked into purchading worthless Tower Semi. No more free money to them $srael!
  7. Giving 6 months of bonding leave.
  8. Nepot$sm by $nd$ans managwrs/VPs/Directors, especially in NEX/NXNE (Sachin Katti, Srinivas Lingam came and got rid-off off most of American managers and brought in only their countrymen!).
  9. Worthless IP, IFS teams.
  10. Bloated Packaging (Arizona) teams. Get rid off Chandler, Folsom, Haifa, Kyriat Gyat, Petach Tichva, Allentown site.

USA is naive and f@@l. Allowing jobs to overseas + adding H1b visa (65,000+) each year mostly in high Tech + nefarious persistent visa abusers like Infosys, Cognizant etc taking advantage with low paying jobs going to mostly $ndians (nepot$m kings)!
