Thread regarding Kyocera Corp. layoffs

Horrible company

They talk about being a “great place to work” but the offices are from a third world country with literal mouse infestations, filth kitchens, nothing works, and truckstop quality bathrooms. But then there’s the management. Oscar Sanchez is a real a--hole, he cancelled the employee holiday party in the most tactless way imaginable because the company didn’t hit some absurd target, despite having year over year growth, and of course the executives all got shined new luxury German company cars, but hey, sc--w the employees.

They have this stupid “philosophy” indoctrination bullsh-t about “doing the right thing as a human being” but they work you to death, don’t give half a sh-t about what life you might try to have and then make you afraid for your job with lies about how badly the company is performing. They do this all while executives go golfing or skiing and living high on the hog.

Worst. Leadership. Ever.

The only reason to take a job at this sh-t company is out of desperation. I can’t wait to quit.

Really summed it up perfectly. Great Place to Work was a strong armed effort for everyone to make sure they got good reviews. Oscar is exactly as described, never a positive word. Mostly negative reactions to all employees. Told my sales staff to all find another place to work if they didn't like the new direction of the company. He kicks off terrible solutions and expects everyone to sell unproven technologies. One of the worst leaders I have ever worked for.
