Thread regarding Phillips 66 layoffs

Stock price Plummets

Well, if the stock wasn't underperforming against our peers before, it definitely is now after the tariff/proxy fight combo! Wild stuff.

Just a suggestion as everyone responds to the Employee Engagement Survey, how about renaming the ELT to the SPRLT. Share Price Reduction Leadership Team. We already know they can’t handle making up ground when conditions are normal. There’s no way they can do it in the midst of a financial crisis. This crowd couldn’t extract the value for a pool of drinking water in the middle of a desert.

It was once said for every dollar you have in GDP you can have a dollar in USA circulation. For example, if you have 100% more in circulation, your dollar is only 50 cents. So what do you think what happens to inflation?

There are some people that wants to see a NWO, the only way for this could happed is
Brake America. This is a problem in both democrats and republicans. The only way to keep this from happening is cut expenses and get rid of debt. If you were the president how would you do it? There is always growing pains on any big change.

Clearly a refinery employee that does not understand much aside from “turn this valve,” posted this. Get out much?! The ENTIRE MARKET is in free fall. This has nothing to do with our performance.

You figure we'll hear from fearless leader? Little pep talk to rally the troops as everyone's retirement crashes? Little reassurance as to our jobs?

Nah, probably not. Uncle Mark isn't good at being reassuring.

Wonder if they will still push employee PAC funding for republicans this year, always felt pressure from my refinery manager.

Well Big Oil wanted Trump!
Glad it happened. Dumped all of my oil stocks. It will be $40 a barrel when Saudi opens the markets.

Tariffs are a disaster for P66. Most of our crude is imported, and it's not like we can easily switch to domestic crudes across the board. Refined product pricing will drop as shipping and travel demands decrease. Steel prices are skyrocketing, so maintenance and turnarounds are going to be more squeezed.

If the last few years of layoffs, general stupidity and pain have been ostensibly to increase the stock price, what do you think we're in for when it plummets? Good luck everyone
