This place has been wrecking careers since the late 2000s. Anyone with an exit plan should bail while they still can. There’s zero loyalty left, and the pay isn’t even worth the stress anymore. Plenty of other fields actually treat people like humans - go find one.

You’re upset about Good Friday? Really? Just because we’re not all WASPs who observe that day and they are making it so those who do can take it then and others can use it some other time where it is important to them is not DEI, it’s flexibility. Those of different faiths and backgrounds don’t get their holidays off - I couldn’t give two💩 less. Check your privilege, the world isn’t all about people just like you. Take your red hat and shove it.
In what way did they ki-l or get rid of Good Friday? Did they just take the day off completely out of our company paid holidays? How in the world is giving everyone a company floating holiday rather than a random Friday in April off DEI? You probably think there is a war on Christmas too huh?

They literally got rid of Good Friday in favor an extra Floating Holiday in the spirit of inclusion. That’s about as anti-Trump as you can get.

Interested in who is calling who “nepo”? Is it the same one complaining about people not having any experience in the industry? Can’t have it both ways, because the wireless industry is highly incestuous.
“United YOUR ar-e?” Your ar-e must have a ton of extra space then for all the people who have. If you dig through the past posts that weren’t removed, you’ll see the fog’s lifting a few teams have clawed their way out of he-l, and none of them had a nepo fairy godparent. One might be related to someone retired, which I think disqualifies them from puppet-master status. Still work to do, but last week’s changes we a giant step. Skills + NOT being an arrogant ar-e is making a huge comeback.

It’s called surviving the fallout from other people’s bad decisions like putting folks in charge who had no business leading a lunch order, let alone teams. That mess burned a lot of good people out, and yeah, they united over it. Change is finally happening. If you haven’t lived through it, count yourself lucky—and maybe skip the shaming, because it’s been he-l for a lot of folks at the hands of a few.

Between the EMT updates and the overdue D&D changes, this week really is exactly the momentum we’ve been needing! They removed a lot of the negative obstacles and you can see the excitement people have, a bit more to do and clean up and we will keep improving… to infinity and beyond!
