I’m sorry guys, I’d love to tell you I’m all on the edge of my seat with anxiety but I’m so beat down by Citi I’d take a layoff package without even thinking about it. I’d have my laptop, badge and such turned over at the speed of light.
This do more with less and crack the whip constantly mentality, well Citi, you win. I work just hard enough to keep from getting fired. Meanwhile, I troll the job boards externally.
I’ve heard they are expediting these layoffs partly due to the tariff things happening. Should be very soon.
I think they are happening and people just are not sharing or everyone is too numb. May not be happening in bulk amounts but it happened recently (see other threads) with 100 risk people being let go by 3/31

looks like business as usual. There are too many locations and business sectors, maybe its the sector you are currently working in and or location in the world. I seen my department and location cut people off in masses while the other side of the world was business as usual and no clue that many families would be going home without a backup plan.
