You lot over the pond have lost the fu--ing plot
This statement is based on the assumption that we have all the raw materials, products we need to build everything in the US, which isn’t the case. It also doesn’t account for all the agricultural that is produced in other countries that we need. That is why trade exists. Should we build/manufacture more things in the US? Absolutely. Is isolationism the answer? No.
