Anyone have any insight into the recent layoffs at the Spring HCT plant? Almost half of the staff was let go last week.

This statement from the previous commenter is an opinion and not a fact
“That group has been able to keep up with the changes and has assured that all the equipment that went out was working properly”
To the person who said that digital infrastructure needed to get rid of the whole group has no idea about that product. My experience there as someone who is very involved with digital infrastructure knows the opposite to be true. That group has been able to keep up with the changes and has assured that all the equipment that went out was working properly.
I will agree that there are managers in HCT who only got their promotions because they are yes men to the upper mangers. Many are not qualified and are poor managers.
Yeah, my manager just announced there will be more hiring in Singapore. Nice!
Good. The majority of people at Spring are toxic and lazy. They don’t care about operations and move at the speed of a snail. Most of them are rude and won’t even answer the phone. Good to see some change. Need to let go of that permanent monitoring advisor who is an ahole. Need to release the entire digitital infrastructure team who can’t produce a decent telemetry unit, nor support it or provide decent training. And lastly need to release the uppers who have allowed all this to go down for the past 15 years.
HCT plant in Singapore going strong.
40% cut in first round, most managers will get axed in next HR action. Spread out to avoid issuing WARN notice.
All of us managers are still here though
