Thread regarding Nielsen layoffs

No union means they can do whatever they want to us

They can lay off MR without thinking of ways to keep them employed in other areas, and I'm sure the field reps aren't enjoying these smp changes. And taking away install incentives (aside from the check after the install), I've heard they're reducing incentives overall, bonus structure changing for the field for smp. Why haven't we spoken up in large quantities against these? They don't care about the field, or about panelist first impressions, retention, or employee mental health.

They send out union busters without saying they're doing that, and they have town halls but not enough people speak up.

Speak up. They need to stop disregarding the field reps and MR so easily without any regard to how the changes affect us, and for layoffs, just throwing away the MR without trying to find ways to keep them employed.

If we don't speak up, before we know it all the people who have been here for more than 5 years will be replaced with new people that will blindly follow and work like robots.

I would join a union. I'm sure a bunch of FRs would and any MRs that are left.

I would have joined a union but no one has ever mentioned it. Where do we sign up?

This company is beyond this effort. It is literally in the process of being dismantled. Make your peace with that and move on to greener pastures.
