Other than Buckley, who despised paying consultants to come in and tell 3Mers how to run an innovative company, every other CEO this century has believed the mantra that 3Mers don't have the answers and Kearney and McKinsey types are needed.

BB is a mercenary who's already decided 3M gives out too many As on the report card and needs to be Minnesota Nasty. He sees this happening only if he brings in handpicked mercenary leaders from other companies. These leaders owe everything to him and nothing to the unwashed masses of 3Mers.

There was hope at SOLV but then the CEO Hanson became a Marionette puppet to Activist investor Nelson Peltz to keep him job. Peltz biggest accomplishment in life was buying and undervalued Snapple and then i'marketing it well and making a huge fortune selling it later.

Tireman and Moni Moni were classic 21st century 3M hires.

So sad this once great company is being looted and trashed. Glad I'm retired. Glta

We are 3M don't care about results; we only care about whether or not an employee will repeat the company line.
