the title says it all. several top performers are being let go due to so called 'budget cuts'.

Several that I knew had great performance reviews over the years -> Definitely not on PIP. They weren't a-s kissers, which is probably why sub-par employees are still here working with us while they got laid off.
The 4 I know of were definitely NOT on PIPs!
Just fyi some of the resignations for other jobs were people on PIPs that knew they had until April 1. So the poor leadership analogy is kind of funny. There was some over paid fat that needed to go and there still is and that probably will happen soon.
Been happening for a few months now. Letting go of some great employees in HR and beyond. A couple have already left on their own due to poor leadership.
Which function/ pl isn't being cut? I hear cuts happening everywhere. No merit increases this year probably either or delayed for sure.
