We've been on a downward trajectory for quite some time, and there's been no effort to steer things in a different direction. Amana ops will likely not be the last round of layoffs.

Not sure if this is a harbinger of the rest of the year or what, but my co-worker and I were told yesterday that when our contract ends, we will not be renewed and will, in fact, have to train our Brazilian replacements in the upcoming weeks.
How are they coming from China when it shows no refrigerator imports from China? When did they decide to do this? 2025? There is no public reporting on this either, seems like wrong move to do if you want help from Trump no?
Refrigerators are already coming and soon some laundry products.

Definitely layoffs are going to be there. Two major categories are Getting complete units from China. They don’t need us anymore. Quarter to quarter approach of top leadership is going to be end of this organization. The way Bitzer is marketing, last American appliance company tells me something is going on.
Rumor is more coming in June.
