Did anyone get a lawyer to look at their severance package before they signed it? Contemplating whether I should do that, but the package looks pretty standard.

Same, i had one its normal. Make sure you call unemployment there is a deadline to file in most states. Some states you can collect severance and unemployment at the same time. Im your local state unemployment page shoumd have more info
Luckily, I had a lawyer friend who took look at mine so I didn’t have to hire one. He said it’s basic/standard. Nothing over the top.
