Thread regarding First American Corp. layoffs

Advice to avoid the chopping block!

  1. If you are man in a support role or manager and were not an escrow officer or branch manager you most likely took a position from someone more qualified.
  2. Remember it is all about the relationships.
  3. If you achieve it is never about you remember never say I say we.
  4. Don’t ask questions or try to do the right thing, if you do then prepare to be careful what you wish for.
  5. Tell employees in conflict with each other that you can help then manipulate and antagonize the situation.
  6. You may be called a weasel but you can be the survivor.

I learned this from my manager, some followed I didn’t.
