Really guys, how much longer is GM going continue to sell this power train platform, National back order on this engine, 5 trucks at local dealer waiting for engines. What’s the end game? National recall should be the answer, so sad what GM has become….

Do you really think anybody here cares about quality?
If they can save half a cent on a weak fastener that will cause the engine to fall out of the car in 5 years, they'll do it because the car will be out of warranty and it'll be up to the customer to pay to fix it.
They test these things in Pontiac.
Somebody had to have seen this and signed off anyway. Either that or they just didn't test for this.
