As part of a restructure that involved Effectv, FreeWheel, and Comcast Advertising, over 200 employees were let go.
The restructured company will most likely just be called “Comcast Advertising”

I was on the "offboarding" calls for these layoffs, it was more like 450+ layoffs at the same time. Most with 2 weeks notice.
Such a toxic place to work these days. Layoffs and teams being outsourced almost monthly. This company is actively destroying itself with poor leadership and zero direction. In any other company this leadership would have been shown the door a year or two ago.
Confirmed. As part of the reorg, Freewheel Beijing office will be closed before end of 2025
Was part of the Freewheel layoff last August. It was a sinking ship for years due to negligence from middle and upper management. Bound to happen, especially with the outsourcing too and cost cutting.
This yet to happen?
I wonder when they plan on going live with the new name.
