The payroll department has been hit with layoffs. Unsure of how many, but I’ve seen Payroll Implementation specifically. I’ve also seen “redundancy” discussions will happen May 1 with layoffs effective May 31.
WOW WOW WOW. not surprised/. Im at paycor too in payroll and we just haven't heard anything at all and its frustrating as he-l to say the least
My management told me as of 05/01/2025 I would be transferred to a different unit, different job, which three months ago, was posted as a promotional opportunity. I was told no choice. I am thriving where I am and never asked for this. It’s a lot more work for lateral move. Management still telling us Paycor will be moving over as one operating unit with few changes through calendar 2025. Paycor RSU will cash out upon official acquisition. Just rolling with the weirdness. I get nothing if I fire myself. I’ll get unemployment and maybe severance if I hang on. This is how Paycor thanks us for our service… I’m saving as much as I can. Meanwhile all the incompetent stranger contractors from outside the US who cannot conjugate a verb are making money as I correct their work and apologize to our customers. Writing is on the wall so tuck and roll hoping I don’t hit a boulder on the way down…
