Remotes will be told they have to relocate or goodbye.
Exact dates not sure but you will have to submit your intentions to reporting manager soon.

The reality is, none of us truly know who will or won’t make the list. Do they value some remote roles more than others? Quite possibly. Are they planning to go fully onsite and eliminate all remote positions across the company? Also possible. Could any of us be let go on 4/20? Unfortunately, that’s a possibility too.
I know it’s pretty funny to troll sometimes but please consider that a lot of us aren’t just single dudes living at home with our parents.
A majority of us are the only income earner in our household, responsible for providing for not just ourselves, but our spouse, our young children, and babies.
Please keep it legitimate as false rumors have a big impact on what we do career wise.
Seriously. Instead of making things up to agitate other people, why don't you look into ways of making your own selves happier? If the unhappiness of others warms your heart, you really should look into some type of therapy. Forcing other people to work on site won't make working on site less miserable for you. If it's already crowded, it will only make things worse. I don't know why some group of people is so interested in this happening. Jealousy? Again, seek help...
best deal is to be remote. You get raises and bonus and can work from home. Promotions don't happen much anyhow and if you want a new job, you'll find it outside the company so internal movement isn't a issue either. It's the best deal going.
Have you ever read the relocation offer?? It's 100% optional. It went to not only sales but sales support teams also. You can choose to stay remote with no repercussions at this time other than no promotion, advancement or moving teams. Maybe in the future you will be forced but we are not there yet so stoping making up stuff just because you are upset that folks are remote.
I'm just ready to leave over a number of things.
Ha yeah a real number we are.
What else?
This is pure fear mongering. Remote people like myself have been job hunting over this fear. But I got confirmation from my manager that this is false. Does not mean I won't stop job hunting!
Remotes with medical exemptions also?
Corporate: ‘You’re being relocated.’ Gen Z on 4/20: exhales ‘Yeah, I’m spiritually relocating too, bro.
Gen Z thought remote was forever. Now they’re sipping oat milk, reading RTO relocation letters like tea leaves, trying to guess which version of ‘you’re next’ is coming.
Cállate la boca. It’s obvious none of these clowns have actually read the letter just look at the clueless comments and weak takes.
This is for sales. Reps are a dime a dozen and we can hire new ones here if they don't want to relocate.
total BS...scare tactic here.
To put it bluntly, April 20th is the day the papers will be rolled out to remotes.
This is the best comment yet! Are there not enough GenXers here to laugh at this?
4 remotes on my team received the relocate offer. They have to accept or reject by April 20th. Inside sales.

Ba--s lol! it's not happened yet. Probably some pot stirring disgruntled po-p face making up stories. Get to work po-p face, you will probably be WFR before the remotes get the boot.
I also call it BS for now. I also don’t believe the 4/20 date makes sense at all. While I do think the ultimatum will happen eventually , the timeline doesn’t add up. The email that we received about the relocation stipend states that we have until 4/30 to complete the form in order to receive additional details, and that official approval for relocation will be communicated by 5/14. This makes it unlikely that anything definitive will happen by 4/20. Also considering than 50% of my organization works remotely, makes me believe that many organizations are on the same boat. I don’t think Dell would get rid of thousands of employees at the same time.
I call BS on a confirmed email and date. I do think it will happen eventually.
"Does this apply to upper/middle MGMT as well?" .
Comon, we all know that all animals are equal, but some are more equal than others.
@af+1jqc379hz - not anymore
Does this apply to upper/middle MGMT as well?
Accept or reject what offer? There is no offer.am anyone over ab hour is remote
Is this just Sales or everyone?
"Lol but just a month ago they said people can stay remote if over an hour , rubbish"
And a few months before that they said people would only need to return 3 days per week at the office
Complete rubbish
Can confirm on this end too.
It's finally come to fruition. We all knew this was going to happen. Just when.
Company wide or targeted teams? We still have offices that are over capacity...what's their plan there? And for the folks who are local to those offices who were told to stay home for the time being?
Have to accept or reject offer by April 20th. RTO by August
Can confirm
