I recently read an article within the last eight days or so and Macys was going to be closing 200 additional doors. They would be announcing more doors in June. At some point, the only stores that will be left. Are these new elevated doors these N125 doors. And from what I’m hearing about that format it’s extremely high pressure on everyone that’s and there’s no reward for you as the employee. Has anyone else heard about additional doors closing in the next two years?

Trust and believe…many more doors are closing. When our new CEO took over , he announced 150 doors would close by 2026. With the state of our economy changing daily, that number has increased. We’ll be lucky if there are 150 doors left standing after early 2026. The company wants us to be 100% invested in Tony’s Bold New Chapter. Do they realize it’s hard to believe in something that is going to change so many colleagues lives? It’s going to be a bold new chapter in more ways than Tony intended. 😢 😢 😢Colleagues who have sacrificed so much for so many years only to see it all go to he-l in a henbasket. Macy’s has lost all credibility with its colleagues and definitely lost consumer confidence. We are no longer part of the greatest retailer ever.
