I agree, there are the same sentiment and discussions on the Ford forum as well.
Even if this is fake news, just think about it yourself that if auto prices rise by 25% on 82% of our products overnight, that's going to massively impact demand and the need for workers.
Fake news or not, it sounds very plausible that these discussions would be happening. Problem has been brewing since late 80's to early 90's when investments went to outsourcing instead of local to the US.
