Why not more layoffs in Europe ? Do t get what this has to do with works council consultations ? They won’t layoff again such huge numbers just small portions, a job in HR, in IT, in Trading, etc.
if they do it like this it won’t require EWC consultation. Do you really believe that after all the hassle they do it again. Anyway there will be constant layoffs and what I hear divestitures in Europe during the next 2 years. I can only advise to start looking for a new job. Getting hired will also take time, you need practice in interviewing and luck as well. So don’t wait, waste time and just start the process now.
There can't be more layoffs in Europe in a second wave due to the consultation processes/works counsel. Assume budget cuts must come from other means.
Yes, I have also heard that (lack of) FY budget will force more layoffs. It will probably be different for each area.
Get out. You go backwards there
It’s been said by many a green blooded loyal Cargill soldier…everyone ends up with a better job, more salary, and less workload in life after Cargill.
Can you share what business/area?
Yes; it is being pushed down through the budgeting process so everyone is being asked to cut. It has not stopped; this week learned of further layoffs in my former business.
Look for a job and wait until you get rifed to get your severance. Do not stay at Cargill is a waste of your time and talent.
I’m much happier since I left and my new job has better pay and work environment.
Cargill has now become like so many public companies where they hit their numbers through cost reductions …. No future focused decisions.
Nice job Cargill leaders driving the company culture to the ground.
