@jn not accurate in the least, do you not attend any town halls? Leo is clear on this every freaking time. Lean in pal and remove the chip on your shoulder.

If enough posts pick enough dates one day one will probably be right. But even the right one isn't a smart one under such circumstances, "Even a stopped clock is right twice a day."

“We see no value in you just being here. If we can save money we will get rid of you period“

Harsh message maybe, but isn’t that the smart thing to do? If someone has no value, the company should get rid of them and save money. There’s a lot of dead wood around here that nobody would miss.

Layoffs are normal cycle at Enbridge. Shows all the employees the simply message.

So the bottom line is, no one has any “real” intelligence about if or when VWO/Layoffs are planned.

You guys still don't get it! Layoffs have nothing to do with reducing headcount. Layoff 600, hire 700, see? It's all about laying off those who have high salary and hiring back younger folks will ing to work for less. Look around you, how many seniors are left? Not many! This works great for the bottom line....Untill something goes wrong and no one has the experience to fix it!

why quietly
just get it over with & move on
if you need to reduce your overhead/costs
prolonging it Or hinting at a layoff in October
"is a DJT TECHNIQUE"
show your employees some respect

Overhead cost reduction targets for projects will be measured in reduced headcount, that should tell you something.

Like a lot of companies, layoffs could certainly happen again sometime in the future…..but it’s not helpful or funny to throw out random speculation. Just causes unnecessary worry for a lot of people — so either back-up your claim or get a life.

Some ppl seem fixated on layoff speculations. Always speculating on future layoffs and creating rumors out of the air.
