It's clear TK will not or cannot ever comprehend the value of working remotely. All the complaining here (though justified) won't change that. But CSG is part of the Vista group. TK must answer to someone. Is there a way to appeal to someone above him without losing your head, that could put pressure on TK to maybe at least go hybrid? Am I naïve? Is it a pipe dream? Thoughts?

Why waste time going over Krause's head when you can invest that effort in finding a new role and escape from this ongoing train wreck, now known as CSG fiasco?
Will those relocation requests involve moving closer to those 3 fantastic office locations in India?
I'm not sure why everyone forgets that Vista is not the only owner at this point. And TIBCO was going to a remote workforce way before the pandemic so please believe this is absolutely a TK thing. He's just trying to scare enough people to leave so he doesn't have to pay.
If you are remote, not because you moved, and you never lived near an office, it is highly unlikely the company will force you to move to another part of the country and fire you if you refuse. Most likely you will remain remote and probably end up on the layoff list.
Speak with an attorney if you are terminated.
For those that are fortunate to be considered remote, get ready for RTO Part II. Employees have been receiving emails concerning office closures. If your office is closed then for the time being you would be considered remote employee but don’t believe that is long term. They will most likely tell those employees to either move closer to an office location or take a hike. This is even for those employees who are remote not because of an office closure. Since employee is the one making the decision even though it is forced, don’t expect any severance. Best case scenario is they will let you go but with transition which will give you only a couple of months. For those considered as remote, if you have reason to stay then do what is best for you but if not start looking for alternatives.
Can ya’ll answer a question without being a 12 year old di-k? If the question seems absurd to you, move the fu-k on. No need to flex your keyboard cojones.
Sure, contact the head of Vista, who won't even talk to you. They have the right to do this, whether anyone likes it or not, unfortunately. Ultimately, you either go along with it, or you work somewhere else. Not really much choice. It will backfire in the end because the really talented people will go work for a company that understands WFH is here to stay.
Again with the union nonsense. Give up already.
Should form a union to negotiate.
