Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Being a Seasoned CEO Means…

Never having to say “I took an idea from a layoffs rumor board” rather than “My time at Cadence already taught me what works and what doesn’t”

But writing down your “if I were CEO” ideas to compare to what actual leaders do later is great fun heck it’s even educational. Maybe you can use it to even write a CEO Tycoon video game.

Just discussing layoffs gets boring after all

I really doubt that any CEO, whether good or bad, walks into the job wondering what they should do. I am sure that they had to layout their plan for Intel's future as part of the interview and selection process. On day one LBT started to implement his plans.

I do not think it is a bad idea to take input from this board. Actually, it may be worthwhile to have an open prized competition within Intel to get the best idea of how to reorganize for most efficiency. The real experienced CEO does not have to come up with all the good ideas himself but to be able to sythesize the best ideas out of many.
