Are people being told to RTO regardless of what the official policy is?

That ED should also be required then
I know of teams that are still required to go in 3x per week if they are in RI or CT.
Two of them in RI, one in CT and the rest all strewn across the country (and no in office mandate) this is coming from their Exec Director (who is not in RI or CT but got pressure from above to keep it even in a post Karen world).
Nothing like sending an IM to your boss and they ignore it.
Leadership functions better …. ROFL
It may depend on your role. If you are a people leader etc. The idea being that people in leadership function better if they can see others daily. Of course that would not apply to everyone, but that was the rumor 3 years ago.
Offshore folks would most likely work where they are not only monitored via software, but by camera too.
Makes no sense to RTO when half your team is in India, 7000 miles away.
Seems to be inconsistent. Karen instituted 3 days in office, David changed that to be in office “when it make sense”. I am the only person on my team in my state. I was going in per Karen’s mandate just to sit alone on the phone all day. With David I stopped. I went in a month ago on a Tuesday and I was alone on the floor. So why bother to schlep through traffic to sit in a ghost town.
