Thread regarding ServiceNow Inc. layoffs

I have an offer for ServiceNow director with 600K TC in Dallas and these posts make me very nervous. I’m in a Cush job in a national bank with a lot less pay and this offer almost increases my salary by 50%. Should I take or is there a massive PIP or Layoffs risk. Also is 600K a good salary for tech senior director?

I would be cautious.. Pay is awesome but the culture is different from years ago more political. They're doing re-orgs while leaving some employees in the dark when half their has been moved to a different org. I too was lured by the increase of 40k more per year plus a great stock offering. Almost 6 years later I feel like internally besides AI their network is behind the times. The Cloud teams are being pulled in different directions. They are doing quiet layoff through re-org/role eliminations or forced PIPs.

Yes, there is a massive layoff and pip risk. Look at the stock right now. Stay away

I’d stay with cush job. Tech industry is v rocky rn. But it also depends on where you are in your career and how easy it would be for you to “bounce back” with your experience, age, etc. to take a potential risk like that. You’d hope that if they are offering there is a gap that needs filling, at least for a while. Good luck!
