Thread regarding VISA Inc. layoffs

UNIONIZE VISA NOW

Who’s ready to fight for a union at Visa? It’s totally possible if we come together, get a union rep, and hold these corporate execs accountable!

Legal? Ha! I’m not afraid. At least I’m taking action. What are the rest of you doing—besides complaining? You either stand up and fight for what’s right or sit back and accept the consequences.”

To those bringing up H1B workers—news flash: they’re not even eligible for this. That’s not the issue here. I’m speaking up because American jobs are being lost, outsourced, and devalued. Meanwhile, the government talks about bringing manufacturing back and protecting American workers—but their actions say otherwise. Corporations are doing the exact opposite, and no one is holding them accountable. This has to stop—now.

I’m not against foreign workers. If they’re contributing to our economy, they deserve a fast, fair path to citizenship. But the system is broken—and instead of fixing it, we’re just feeding into the chaos.

I’m done letting corporations call all the shots while we’re left with nothing but a meaningless survey once a year. It’s not enough. I’m tired of giving my all to a company with zero transparency—constantly wondering if today’s the day I get laid off. I used to love working for Visa, but ever since Ryan took over, it’s gone downhill fast.

Greed will not win. And I’m not staying silent anymore.

I’m going to start working on this with a union rep. for my state/ location. FYI, I am not in California. Each location must have someone there willing to get ahold of a union rep. to start the process. They will guide you through everything from start to finish. The game plan for me is to put flyers on everyone’s desk while it’s after hours. Then hold a very large zoom meeting with my union rep. addressing all questions/ concerns. All of this MUST be done outside of working hours off the clock and then you’re 100% protected to not lose your job. If you get enough people to sign up for a union Visa cannot deny it and must start negotiations with that location.

Ryan is using Elon Musk playbook.
Ryan laid of DEI top officer. He/VISA made a deal with Elon.
They don’t care for us workers. Billionaires and millionaires only care for top people of financial echelon.
Hence, UNIONIZE NOW.
Silicon Volley techies need to UNIONIZE NOW.

Many of you clearly don’t understand how unions function, and it shows. A union provides far greater protections than going without one, as well as stronger negotiation power. And for those claiming companies will simply outsource jobs—think again. Unions are already negotiating limits on outsourcing, ensuring that only a small percentage of jobs can be sent overseas, and even securing agreements that prevent AI from replacing workers. But if you choose to stand against unions, don’t be surprised when your job is outsourced to India or Poland—because it’s already happening at Visa.

Outsourcing is here to stay unless Politicians do something about it which I doubt. We all want cheap, fast, affordable

Nope! Absolutely no.
Look at what unions did to the entire US auto industry.

Some one needs to shake up and Ryan stick toothpicks on his eyes to see Rajat's organization --- more than 70% are Indians. Where is the diversity?

At the end of any weekday, walk to the bus stops at the M1 and M2 buildings? It resembled Mumbai. I can see ONLY one ethnic group --- Indians.

WHY?

The outcome would be outsourcing. India and Poland are a lot cheaper than the US. And there is a new sheriff at the top.
