After indiscriminate hiring of yes people from the start, it looks like finally we will also get the lay off announcement. Teams supporting retail will be moved to markets or laid off. Global policy of reducing Agile and PMs will also be applied here. Our leads are too busy saving themselves to care about us. HR been asked to protecting low performers.

First announcements started in India
I'm leaving next week. One thing I will not miss is the smell when the lift doors open.
I’m organizing the next leadership visit and parties. Fingers crossed wish me luck for a promotion.
Layoffs while promoting new senior directors when publicly announcing no promotions for all of tech. Is DB even aware of what’s going on here?
Every two weeks they host visitors and take the next week off to relax. Dancing and binge drinking needs some recovery time?
The HR in IN tech hub is a joke. The joke is she doesn’t come to office and claims to be in Tech hub or Sales office to cover up. Hosts global leaders with Bollywood theatrics in the tech hub and uses it to further her agenda. Fairplays are rampant, there is no work ethic, employees hardly come to office, forget work quality. But it slides as no one bothers to investigate what tech hub really does. It’s a ladder of incompetence and those in charge are least bothered as this confusion can help them embezzle higher salaries and perks.
Funny thread. What can one expect from an office where people come to work at 12PM and leave before 6. Work half day and get paid close to European salaries.
Many leads sitting in Herzo prefer hiring externals to tech hub internals who work like in a govt job with 0 ownership and accountability. Much better to keep small teams closely located near actual business.
So sick of the dancing and playing loud music and videos everywhere. No serious tech person could work in a joke environment like this.
I can't say I'm surprised
GGN tech hub results are far, far from ideal. I've seen projects born in there that were a complete chaos even before releasing to production. Any attempt to fix them would be more complex and expensive than to just rebuild the whole thing from scratch
As long as we maintain GGN tech hub as an isolated entity, with no international reports, we'll continue to see promotions and prizes to people with no engineering skills
In coding we know Garbage-IN = Garbage-Out
The quality of our retail app experience, and overall low quality of site responsiveness and bloated code / bugs in enterprise apps shows this.
We hired Garbage Programmers in a low income part of the world. As a result you get Garbage code.
Maybe adidas is happy with garbage?
I'm not the author of the comments below, but man be prepared for hatred cause lots of unhappy people, including me, were rejected by VLP for whatever random reason.
I don't want to justify salty comments but VLP card is not on the table for lots of unhappy employees and I would say now that the company is the one to be blamed after all this sh--t show and drama.
Gurgaon was the launching pad for the current CIO’s blue eyed and ex company mate AR.
AR left no tables unturned to form a huge organization for no reason to justify his position and 250k Euro salary.
Once, the tech hub teams started reporting to HQ instead of AR, the future CIO jumps in to save him. AR get a big chunk of responsibilities and gets promoted to SVP.
AR now will build a team in Gurgaon to serve the “real” responsibilities. His first line is already from his ex-company. The people hired to make him what he is are not needed anymore.

I don’t like the amount of hatred being spread in this forum. You're generalizing people and calling them useless! Are you trying to be funny at the expense of others?
If you're going to be negative, why not take it elsewhere with the vlp?
But although after Fumbi the company was supposed to move away from Infosys, they still came back strong.
Infosys has such grip on the company and are so well connected they are a symbiotic parasite by now. It is not a good strategy to depend so much on a vendor.
As for IND hub was a flop from day one.
Bad quality, no real autonomy and having teams with people tgere and Hzo total disaster. But they can dance which is amazing cause for sure that brings more revenue.....
The tech hubs, particularly India tech hub should never have existed. That was a plan under Fumbi who was caught red handed with funneling money to Infosys. Adidas fired her, rightfully so but kept her plan? That’s insanity.
Then they hire 500 under skilled developers in the hub who essentially cobble code together from GitHub and Google queries and wouldn’t know a recursive function and unit testing from a banana.
Mistake after mistake made, the “tech hubs” - BOG, ZAR, GUR, should honestly be closed globally and the correct talent hired in the regional HQs.
After o9 issues, very little trust on what tech can deliver
Heard the same that many global products to shut down.
