Thread regarding Lockheed Martin Corp. layoffs

losing Air Force And Navy NGAD

Not sure how the company can lose both new fighter programs for the Air Force and Navy and recover. They have a backlog of orders on the F 35 but I don’t think it’s enough to sustain the workforce.

Seems like the F 35 is not a popular airplane with the military right now. Which weighed on the two recent aircraft program losses.

Shocked Boeing won but they also underbid everyone.

LM has gone downhill with all their changes in leadership and management, they put people in management roles with little to no experience. These folks have no understanding of the scope of their responsibility or the job at hand.

blame the execs. they sit around giving prsentations and ignoring all the useless middle managers. who the heck has heard of an assoicate manager or program manager or sr manager. In the old lockheed days it was only operations managers and directors. Yup the execs are to blame the older execs watched the bills like a hawk. they said if you don't run the busin....we will layoff the whold f....en... company.
