It’s been at least a couple of years that BTC has been included in Houston rank groups. Have never heard of someone from BTC getting PIPed. Are they protected from NSI?

Cost is factored in. BTC only need to perform 1/8 as well as HC10 to be safe from NSI.
Cost has been factored in as part of their performance review.
BTC improvement plans are usually just a bar of soap. Lololol
Both BTC and KLTC people can be NSI. But they are not given the option of PIL and PIP. They have other improvement programs. The company does not want them to get 3 months of salary and move to another job
If the Indians keep jumping between oil companies for higher pay, in a few years they will get up to 15% pay of HC10 level.
It is not the piping it is the turnover they worry about. Turnover is high as there are many companies vying for the indian talent pool. So BTC dosen't have to pip. Just wait for someone to leave and try to replace them. In bangaraloo all of the major oil companies have research centers. An indian worker can simply jump from one to the other every few months. It is all business. There are also the contract companies that do technical and lab work for the research centers. The contract companies are even cheaper than the research centers. Remember fundamentals movement from high to lower concentration or costs.
Not completely protected from NSI but there is a different standard.
Not true. Source: I knew someone
