Boss said layoffs continuing and I am one of them. Mixed feelings. Been at Citi well over 2 decades. Excited about something new. Met great people at Citi. Amazing opportunities. Place has been good to me. The corporate grind does take it's toll though. Wish you all the best.

My last day in Citi is Tomorrow. I have mixed feelings. Great people, not so great people, a lot of opportunities to learn, very few opportunities to progress, good and bad managers, and unfortunately a really toxic organization (living in constant fear to be fired), and an awful compensation scheme. For these 2 aspects nothing good to say.
I was not laid off, I found something better (not very difficult, anyways). Europe, not US.

For you, Citi is gone and done, mull over it no more and look toward the horizon.
There is life after Citi. Decompress and mourn the loss of a place your gave 20 years to. Then figure it out.
